Who's your neighbor?
“Who’s your neighbor?” is a tabletop game that playfully teaches intercultural acceptance. It focusses on the five most prominent cultures that have immigrated into the United States. The goal is to teach children about different cultures in their communities and to bridge the cultural gap between people from different backgrounds.
Since this was my senior design project, I was responsible for all assets of creating this game, from cultural research, to game mechanics, to the design and illustrations.
For this game to work, I created 48 different country cards like the ones above, all with small illustrations. I created 30 different Q&A cards, each with 5 questions. I also illustrated 5 different jigsaw puzzles, one for a festival of each of the cultures I was working with.
Below are 3 out of those 5 illustrations.
